BRUNO ERPICUM
Dirige el estudio AABE (Atelier d’Architecture Bruno Erpicum & PARTENAIRES) desde 2001 y disfruta de un equipo de colaboradores repartido por Europa con centro neurálgico en Bruselas. Los diseños del arquitecto belga son elegantes y bien resueltos, tanto en la creación como en su futura funcionalidad.

SOPHIE POPELIER
Sophie Popelier se graduó en Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst. Cursó sus estudios también en Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School. Trabaja como diseñadora de interiores y es también propietaria del estudio MINUS. Filosofía de su estudio se puede describir como, “La simplicidad es un signo de perfección”. Los fabricantes de muebles y diseñadores interiores de Minus practican su arte para crear una impresión eterna. Las líneas puras crean el espacio, la calma y la serenidad. Los arquitectos trabajan para la estructuración técnica y la realización de diseños. Ellos también pueden optar por un concepto total por el cual el diseño y la ejecución total pueden ser coordinados completamente por el negocio familiar. Minus se caracteriza por una visión valiente de materiales y diseño. Materiales caros como la madera sólida o la chapa, y los sintéticos son muy utilizados. En un diseño puro, los interiores y muebles son creados para la cocina, la vida, el dormir y el funcionamiento. Interiores individuales y únicos y los muebles son producidos gracias a su maquinaria ultramoderna según las normas de la calidad más alta. El estándar de obtener un fin superlativo se refleja en la artesanía de siete generaciones de la familia Carton.

PATRICIA URQUIOLA
Asturiana de ascendencia vasca, es uno de los nombres más importantes del diseño contemporáneo. En 2001 crea su estudio de diseño en Milán, ciudad donde reside. Realiza diseños para diferentes empresas como Alessi, B&B, Moroso, Molteni o Kartell. Tiene obras expuestas en el MOMA de Nueva York. Entre sus diseños más conocidos: sofá Lowland, contenedor One, silla Flower…

JEAN-MARIE MASSAUD
Arquitecto, inventor y diseñador. En 2000 co-funda con Daniel Pouzet un estudio ampliando su interés en la arquitectura. Uno de sus proyectos es el Estadio de fútbol Chivas en Guadalajara, México, comenzado en 2003 y previsto inaugurar el 30 Julio de 2010: un balance entre funcionalidad y estética, un volcán que se rodea de vegetación y se fusiona con el paisaje, una experiencia visual distinta. Además se tiene la intención de convertir este espacio en un lugar de convivencia, realizar un pic-nic, una larga caminata…
ROBERTO PALOMBA
Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, arquitectos y diseñadores, fundan Palomba Serafini Associati en 1994. Desde el 2003, Roberto imparte clases de Diseño Industrial en el Politécnico de Milán.
Trabajan principalmente con arquitectura, interiores, diseño de exposiciones, diseño gráfico, estrategias de comunicación y de medios, así como consultoría de marketing. Actualmente figuran como directores artísticos para Ceramica Sant’Agostino, Elmar, Kos, Swan o Zucchetti.

SHASHI CAAN.
Presidenta IFi. A lo largo de su carrera profesional en algunas de las firmas más prominentes de Nueva York, Shashi Caan ha dejado su marca con un diseño sobrio, usando múltiples capas para unir arquitectura, producto y diseño de interiores. Con un gran interés en el arte y la ciencia del diseño por igual, continua explorando lo abstracto / conceptual, lo teórico y el impacto del comportamiento de nuestro medio ambiente construido. Produjo un trabajo ejemplar para Swanke Gensier y Swanke Hayden Connell Architects. Más recientemente, antes forma The Collective, la Sra. Caan fue directora de diseño y asociada a Skinmore Owings and Merrill Architects. Una diseñadora polifacética que constantemente se esfuerza por lograr la excelencia del diseño, Shashi Caan mantiene un ojo en el futuro, piensa globalmente y con el carácter universal del diseño. En reconocimiento a su compromiso con el desarrollo del sector de la arquitectura y el diseño, así como su propio trabajo como diseñadora, la Sra. Caan fue galardonado con el Interior Design of the Year en 2004.

ARTHUR CASAS
En 2000 gana el premio de Mejor Hotel de Ciudad en EEUU, en 2006 el premio en categoría de muebles en el “Museo de la Casa Brasileña”… y en 2010 la revista “Wallpaper Magazine” le concede el premio en la categoría de Mejor Nuevo Restaurante (Restaurante KAA).
Su estudio se divide en dos, uno en Nueva York y otro en Sao Paulo, su ciudad de origen, desde donde desarrolla su carrera de diseño de interiores, construcciones residenciales y proyectos comerciales.
ISABEL LÓPEZ
En Octubre de 2009, Isabel López Vilalta crea su propio estudio dedicado a proyectos multidisciplinares de interiorismo, diseño integral y arquitectura.
Vicepresidenta del FAD, ha recibido premios como el Best Of Year Awards 2008 de la revista Interior Design de New York por el Hotel Eme de Sevilla, el Conde Nast Awards Europe 2005 o el Design Awards 2005, Travel+Leisure, New York, por el Hotel Omm de Barcelona.
KING & MIRANDA DESIGN
Santiago Miranda (Sevilla) y Perry King (Londres) forman el estudio King&Miranda Design en Milán. Los conceptos estilísticos mediterráneos con anglosajones fusionan lo emotivo con lo funcional.
Desarrollan una intensa actividad didáctica e investigadora. Su trabajo en el campo de los productos electrónicos, la iluminación y el mobiliario doméstico y urbano se complementa con la creación de ambientes, espacios expositivos, entornos donde conviven en eficaz armonía los objetos/obras expuestos.

BRUNO ERPICUM
He heads the AABE studio (Atelier d’Architecture Bruno Erpicum & PARTENAIRES) and has done since 2001. He enjoys working with a team of collaborators who are spread out around Europe, but based in Brussels. Belgian architectural designs are elegant and well resolved in terms of both their creation and future functional qualities.

Sophie Popelier graduated from Hogeschool voor wetenschap & Kunst. He studied also at Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School. She works as an interior designer and also owns the studio MINUS. Philosophy of his study can be described as, “Simplicity is a sign of perfection.” Furniture makers and interior designers Minus practice their art to create an everlasting impression. The clean lines create the space, the calm and serenity. The architects working for the technical structuring and implementation of designs. They can also opt for a total concept for which the total design and implementation can be coordinated entirely by the family business. Minus is characterized by a bold vision of materials and design. Expensive materials like solid wood or veneer, and synthetics are used. In a sleek design, interiors and furnishings are created for the kitchen, living, sleeping and working. Individual and unique interior and furniture are produced thanks to the art machinery under the rules of the highest quality. The standard to obtain an end superlative craftsmanship is reflected in the seven generations of the family Carton.

PATRICIA URQUIOLA
Born in the principality of Asturias of Basque descent, Patricia Urquiola is one of the most important names in contemporary design. In 2001, she created her design studio in Milan, the city where she lives. She does different designs for various firms like B&B, Moroso, Molteni or Kartell. Some of her works are on show in the New York MOMA. Among her most well-known designs we find: the Lowland sofa, Container One, the Flower chair, etc.

JEAN-MARIE MASSAUD
He is an architect, inventor and designer. In 2000, he co-founded a study with Daniel Pouzet to extend his interest in architecture. One of his projects is the Chivas Football Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico, which commenced in 2003 and its opening is planned for 30th July, 2010: a balance between functional qualities and aesthetics, a volcano surrounded by plant life which merges with the landscape, a very different visual experience. Besides, the intention is that this area becomes a place for people to live side by side, to have a picnic, to go for a long walk, etc.

Ludovica+Roberto Palomba are architects and designers who founded the Palomba Serafini Associati in 1994. Since 2003, Roberto gives Industrial Design classes in the Milan Polytechnic University.
They mainly focus on architecture, interiors, designing exhibits, graphic design, communication and media strategies, and counsel in marketing. Nowadays, they are also the artistic directors for Ceramica Sant’Agostino, Elmar, Kos, Swan or Zucchetti.

SHASHI CAAN.
President IFI. Throughout her professional career at some of New York City’s most prominent firms, Shashi Caan has made her mark with an understated design signature using multiple layers to unite architecture, product, and interior design. With a keen and equal interest in the art and the science of design, she continues to simultaneously explore the abstract/ conceptual, the theoretical and the behavioral impact of our built environment. She produced exemplary work for Gensier Associates and Swanke Hayden Connell Architects. More recently, before she formed The Collective, Ms. Caan directed design and was an Associate Partner at Skinmore Owings and Merrill Architects. A multi-talented designer who consistently strives for design excellence, Shashi Caan keeps an eye on the future, thinks globally, and is concerned with the universal nature of design. In recognition of her commitment to furthering the field of architecture and design, as well as her own work as a designer, Ms. Caan was awarded the prestigious Interior Design of the Year in 2004.

ARTHUR CASAS
He won the Best City Hotel Award (USA) in 2000, he received the award for the furniture category from the “Museo de la Casa Brasileña” Museum in 2006, and the Best New Restaurant Award from the Wallpaper Magazine (Restaurant KAA) in 2010.
His studio is split into two locations: New York and Sao Paulo, the second being where he was born, from where he continues his interior design career, his home constructions and his business projects.
ISABEL LÓPEZ
In October 2009, Isabel López Vilalta designed her own studio dedicated to multidisciplinary interior decoration projects, comprehensive design and architecture.
Vice Chair of FAD, she has received awards like Best Of Year Awards 2008 by New York’s Interior Design magazine for the Hotel Eme in Seville, the Conde Nast Awards Europe 2005 or the Design Awards 2005, Travel+Leisure, New York, for the Hotel Omm in Barcelona.
KING & MIRANDA DESIGN
Santiago Miranda (Seville) and Perry King (London) set up the King&Miranda Design studio in Milan. The mixture of Mediterranean and Anglo-Saxon stylistic concepts helps emotional traits merge with functional qualities. Their intense activities are didactic and research-based. They work in the fields of electronic products, lighting, and domestic and urban furnishings which complement the creation of atmospheres, exhibition areas, and environments where exhibited objects/works efficiently co-exist in harmony.
